#FAIL: The 50 Greatest Social Media Screw-Ups

In 2013, I co-authored a book #FAIL that catalogued and analysed the many ways that companies were making mistakes when engaging with social media audiences - some because of external crises but many self-inflicted. It was the culmination of six years previous consulting with companies on social media reputation and crisis management.


I co-founded the popular Gastrokid Blog and co-authored The Gastrokid Cookbook. I also developed the Gross Food Guide app for kids.

Oil: Anatomy of an Industry

My first book was Oil: Anatomy of an Industry, published by the New Press in 2004. It offered a critical (if now dated) look at the many ways the oil industry influences our daily lives.
